From a young age, Daniel Pazos knew he had an appreciation for art and fashion. He was a natural artist as a child, so it seemed a natural progression for him to want to paint faces. His first memory of wanting to do this was watching a fashion show on television in his late teens that seemed to draw him in. This was probably the first time he was emotionally moved by the magic of Makeup and the power of transformation it seemed to have. He also began noticing the beautiful makeup the starlets wore on the magazine covers and it was at that moment he realized what he wanted to do. In his own words, ” a love affair with beauty had begun. “

In 1998, he began working for cosmetic companies such as Lancome, MAC and Laura Mercier in Miami, FL. He worked along side several talented artists including the very respected Laura Mercier, Paula Dorf, Ross Burton and Tim Quinn of Giorgio Armani Cosmetics. He was like a sponge, and would soak up as much knowledge as possible. Daniel’s hunger for all things beauty, grew even more, when he became licensed for hair and was able to groom and style hair on set as well.

Daniel developed a very clean approach to beauty. He is a natural with a light touch. The experience he had working with real women taught him his ideal job is to enhance a womans best features, and work upon what is already there, and just bring it out. This beauty philosophy can be seen in his work today. He has worked for clients such as Perry Ellis, Stage Stores, Cosa bella, Zeki Swimwear, Bon Ton Stores, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Gianfranco Riuffini, Ardene, Ocean Drive Magazine, Seventeen Magazine, Flair Dutch, British GQ Style, and GQBrazil, among others. Photographers he has worked with include: Hans Feurer, Daniela Federici, Remi Rebillard, Jeff Olsen, Joseph Montezinos, Danny Cardozo and Beth Studenberg, among many others. Daniel brings with him a level of enthusiasm and passion for his craft all his own and would be an asset to any production.
