After a few fun years as an agent, Michael gave into his urge to be creative, and started photographing the models he represented. One thing led to another, and now he takes photos of some of the most recognizable faces. The transition from fashion photography to celebrity photography came naturally, as Michael grew up heavily inspired by television and film (like most 80's kids). Michael has shot top celebrities and models for some of the largest brands and publications in the world. These talented folks seem to like Michael’s laid-back vibes, thorough preparedness and very fast shooting style. They keep hiring him to take photos, much to Michael’s astonishment. In 2018 Michael teamed up with one of his best friends since 2nd grade, Michael Bae, to form the directing duo MichaelMichael. This miraculously allows them to get paid to hang out and discuss ridiculous movie ideas - something they previously did for free. Michael lives between NYC, LA and South Florida with his wife who is an artist and their badass black pomeranian named Biggie.
Michael has collaborated with prestigious clients such as Netflix, Chopard, Hugo Boss, Lionsgate, Victoria's Secret, Sony Records, Alice & Olivia, Polydor Records, Gucci, Amazon, Carolina Herrera, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Cartier, Disney, Hollywood Records, Badgely Mischka, American Eagle, J Crew, Diane Von Furstenberg, Maybelline, Viacom and magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Esquire, V Man, Vogue Man, Interview, Men's Journal, Harper's Bazaar, Numero, Mr. Porter, Hollywood Reporter, Icon, Dazed, amongst others.
